Introducing new people to Jesus is the best part of church planting. Once someone makes that commitment it's just the beginning of their faith journey. This eight-session discipleship curriculum will help you implement a strong discipleship program in your church for new believers. There are two sets of curriculum, one for the new believer and one for a mentor to help lead in the discipleship process. Each session includes topics like learning to read the Bible, praying, and sharing the Gospel with others:
SESSION 1: How do I know I am saved?
SESSION 2: Who am I in Christ?
SESSION 3: How do I read the Bible?
SESSION 4: How do I pray?
SESSION 5: How do I hear God’s voice?
SESSION 6: What is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit?
SESSION 7: What are we living for?
SESSION 8: What is my #1 responsibility?

Follow Jesus is a discipleship study created by Oaks Church in Red Oak, TX. Oaks Church believes as followers of Jesus that our number one responsibility in life is to make disciples, and this Follow Jesus study is a tool to help you do that. Ultimately, Oaks Church's Follow Jesus study is intended to be a tool to help people run after the charge given in Matthew 28:19 - that we would all, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
